Oktopus 6m IT-B Panel Turner for 1m & 2m Wide Panels

With       With more and more emphasis on protecting the environment and reducing our carbon footprint methods and equipment have been developed to improve the installation of panels in order to combat environmental issues. One way in which Kingspan have tackled this issue is to develop larger panels that are stacked interleaved. This means with larger panels a larger surface area can be covered with each panel installed and more panels can be delivered with each load due to the fact that they are stacked interleaved.  Developing new methods such as these reduces transport costs, negative effects on the environment but more importantly speeds up the installation process.

      The 6m IT-B can install Horizontal and Ceiling panels up to 12m in length and 2m wide, The IT-B can also take delivery and offload panels that arrive in interleaved stacks. The IT-B lifts and rotates the inverted panel through 180° ready for a second Oktopus to attach its self to the underside to lift the panel away for installation.
